Apres s'être côtoyés au sein de différents projets et jam sessions sur la scène parisienne, Romain Garcera (vibraphone) forme le "RG Hybrid Project" accompagné du batteur parisien Clément Cliquet et du bassiste réunionnais  Emmanuel Camy.
Ils exploitent alors leur complicité naturelle en s'entourant du pianiste Camille Noel et du saxophoniste Abel Jednak .
Les compositions se nourrissent d' influences ayant jalonnées leur parcours musical, allant du jazz des années 70 au jazz moderne, passant par le hip hop, et aux couleurs mélangeant leurs différentes cultures.
Le Mc Edash Quata rejoint alors l'aventure en y ajoutant ses textes et son flow explosif.
Situé entre Bruxelles et Paris , le groupe mêle écriture pointilleuse, groove et plages d' improvisations décoiffantes.

A history of collaborations throughout multiple projects and jam sessions on the Parisian scene leads Romain Garcera (vibraphone) to create the « RG Hybrid project » with parisian drummer Clément Cliquet and réunnionais bassist Emmanuel Camy. They are soon joined by Camille Noël on on keyboard and Abel Jednack on saxophone. The composition are fed by the musical culture each have developed throughout their personal musical path, from jazz of the seventies to modern jazz, with a strong hip hop influence, as well as a colorful mix of each’s culture. Mc Edash Quata then joins the crew, adding lyrics and an explosive flow to the project. Based between Bruxelles and Paris, the band combine very precise writing, groove and mind-blowing improvisations.
